Boarding Terms and Conditions

Accuracy of Information
  • By finalizing your booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
  • Providing false or incomplete information may result in the termination of services.
  • You will be responsible for any costs or damages resulting from the submission of inaccurate information.
Rates Acknowledgment
  • You acknowledge and accept the rates in effect at the time of this agreement.
Authorization for Care
  • You authorize SamLex SG to care for the rabbit(s) specified in this agreement for the entire duration of the booking.
  • SamLex SG will adhere to its in-house food safety guidelines and feeding routines unless alternative instructions are provided in the Boarding  Form.
  • You grant SamLex SG the authority to take all necessary actions to maintain the health and well-being of your rabbit(s) during their stay.
Check-in / Check-out
  • Standard check-in times are between 2pm to 6pm, with early check-in available from 11am.
  • Standard check-out times are by 2pm, extendable until 6pm; no check-outs are permitted after 6pm.
  • Additional fees will apply for early check-in and late check-out.
  • Appointments for check-in and check-out must be scheduled in advance.
Payment and Refund Policy
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your boarding reservation.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of check-in.
  • No refunds will be issued for early check-outs or any unused portions of the boarding reservation.
  • You acknowledge and accept responsibility for any additional services incurred during the boarding period, including, but not limited to, medical services, grooming, transportation, and other related services deemed necessary for the well-being of your rabbit.
Right to Decline or Terminate
  • SamLex SG retains the authority to decline or terminate boarding services at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
Feeding
  • While your rabbit is in our care, they will have unlimited access to in-house selection hay, daily pellets, fresh water, and fresh vegetables upon request.
  • In-house food is fed according to our safety guidelines
  • Owners who choose to provide their own food for their rabbit(s) must include clear written feeding instructions detailing portion sizes, feeding schedule, and any specific dietary requirement.
  • All food containers and items must be clearly labeled with the rabbit’s name and feeding schedule to avoid confusion.
Medical Disclaimer
  • SamLex SG is not a veterinary facility and, therefore, cannot provide medical diagnoses, treatments, or emergency care.
  • Owners are required to inform us of any known health issues or unusual observations concerning their rabbit prior to boarding.
  • Should a health concern arise, we will take the rabbit to the owner’s designated veterinarian, if specified. If no preference is provided, SamLex SG will consult our preferred veterinarian.
  • All veterinary expenses are the exclusive responsibility of the owner and must be settled directly with the veterinarian.
  • If the veterinarian deems the rabbit fit for boarding after treatment, we will continue care based on the vet’s instructions until check-out, upon owner’s agreement. The boarding rate will be adjusted to the medical boarding rate.
  • If deemed necessary, the rabbit will be housed in a quarantine room to ensure the safety of other boarded rabbits.
Death Policy
  • In the unfortunate event of a rabbit’s passing during boarding, the owner will be notified immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, the designated emergency contact will be informed
  • The owner will be responsible for arranging the handling of rabbit’s remains
  • Should a rabbit pass away before the conclusion of the service period, any unused days will be non-refundable.
Pet Abandonment
  • Abandoning a pet is both illegal and unethical. If an owner fails to collect their rabbit within 3 days of the scheduled pick-up date and does not communicate with us, the rabbit will be considered abandoned. In such cases, SamLex SG reserves the right to:
    1. Transfer ownership of the rabbit to a rescue organization.
    2. Report the abandonment to the SPCA or AVS or the Police as appropriate.
Liability Waiver
  • By using SamLex SG’s services, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with grooming, separation, transportation, and boarding of your rabbit(s), including potential stress-related issues.
  • While SamLex SG will take every precaution to ensure your rabbit’s safety and well-being, you understand that incidents such as illness, injury, accidents, or even death may occur.
  • You voluntarily
    1. Release and discharge SamLex SG, its owners, and staff from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from the use of their services.
    2. Agree to hold harmless and indemnify SamLex SG, its owners, and staff for any incidents, including those allegedly caused by negligent acts or omissions.
